USA - Earthquake (ECHO 14 Apr 2026)

An earthquake of magnitude?5.7?M and a depth of?5?km occurred in western Nevada on?14?April at?01:29?UTC (13?April at?18:29 local time). The epicentre was located approximately?20?km east-southeast of Silver?Springs.
The main shock was followed by more than 30 aftershocks, the largest of which reached magnitude?3.6?M.
The USGS PAGER estimates that 5?000?people were exposed to strong shaking.
According to media reports, no damage or casualties were recorded. The seismic event was felt across parts of western Nevada, especially in Reno, and in neighbouring California.
