  • Heavy rainfall is still affecting nine Departments of Bolivia since November 2023, resulting in widespread floods, landslides and severe weather-related incidents.
  • According to the Bolivia Ministry of Defense (MINDEF), 52 people died, and five are still missing. In addition, more than 255,000 people have been affected and more than 1,500 houses have been destroyed. 
  • A municipal disaster has been declared for 65 Municipalities, and a municipal emergency has been in effect for 27 other Municipalities of the Country.
  • For the next 24 hours, moderate rainfall is forecast over most of the central-western, central and southern-central areas of the country.
