Mambéré-Kadéï Prefecture, Central African Republic, Late January 2023UNOCHA reported heavy rains in Guen, in the Mambéré-Kadéï Prefecture, on 27 January 2023 destroyed at least 100 houses and displaced over 500 people who subsequently found refuge in makeshift shelters or with host families. Severe rains are rare during the November to April dry season. The affected population critically need food, shelter, water, sanitation and hygiene aid.
