Bolivia, January 2021Heavy rainfall caused rivers to rise in parts of Bolivia. Flooding affected areas of Cochabamba department from around 14 January and La Paz department from 17 Janaury. Cochabamba Department UNOCHA reported around 2,700 families affected by floods in Cochabamba Department. Civil Defence reported flooding in the municipalities of Cercado, Colcapirhua, Villa Tunari and Tiquipaya. One fatality was reported in Cercado. La Paz Department Meanwhile heavy rain also caused the Mapiri and Tipuani rivers to break their banks on 18 January, flooding the town of Guanay in Larecaja province in northern La Paz Department.Thu 14 Jan 2021FloodList provided by Copernicus GLOFAS
