Tropical Storm Etau, Philippines, Vietnam and Thailand, November 2020After passing through Visayas, Southern Luzon and Mindoro Regions (central Philippines) on 06-08 November, Tropical Storm Etau moved over South China Sea towards Vietnam. AHA Centre reported 2 fatalities and 9,495 displacements and 31 houses damaged or destroyed in Quang Ngai, Central Vietnam. Media in Thailand reported the Moon and Lam Phlai Mat rivers in Nakhon Ratchasima broke their banks on 10 November, swollen by the water released from Phimai dam. Note: Numerous tropical storms affected parts of South East Asia in quick succession during this period, making it difficult to distinguish impacts of each individual storm.Sun 8 Nov 2020FloodList provided by Copernicus GLOFAS
