expected to maintain this general course with a dramatic decrease in
forward speed through Sunday.

Maximum sustained winds have decreased to 30 mph. 23W is forecast
to maintain this intensity through tonight, then weaken,
possibly dissipating as a significant tropical cyclone some time
Sunday.

East. 23W is moving north at 21 mph. It is expected to turn toward the
northwest with a dramatic decrease in forward speed through Monday.
This general forecast track will keep 23W over the open ocean south of
Japan.

Maximum sustained winds are 45 mph. 23W is forecast to maintain this
intensity through Sunday, then begin to weaken. 23W could end up
dissipating by Tuesday.

Tropical storm force winds extend outward from the center up to
50 miles to the east with little or no tropical storm force to
the west.
