South and West France, December 2019A storm brought strong winds and heavy rain to parts of south and west France from late 12 December, 2019. Pre-emptive evacuations were carried out in Landes on 13 December after the Gaves de Pau and Oloron rivers threatened to overflow. Flooding was reported in Lot-et-Garonne Department after the Garonne and tributaries overflowed.
