Tehran, Oct 28, IRNA - An earthquake measuring 4.9 on the Richter scale hit Qir and Karzin in the southern province of Fars on Tuesday. According to the Seismological Center of the Tehran University Geophysics Institute, the tremor occurred at 11:49 local time (0819 GMT). The quake was registered in an area located at 55.
