  • An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 M (4.9 M for Indonesian authorities) with a depth of 10 kilometres hit Bandung Regency, West Java Province on 18 September, at 2.41 UTC (09.41 local time). The epicenter of the earthquake was inland 16 km east-southeast of Banjar city.
  • According to the National Agency for Disaster Countermeasure (BNPB), one person died, 75 people were injured -19 of them seriously, 470 people were displaced and almost 2,800 were affected across the Bandung regency. Moreover, almost 700 houses and public buildings have been damaged in the aforementioned regency.
  • National authorities are providing help for those affected and conducting the damage assessment.
