Santa Catarina, Brazil, Mid-January 2023Stormy weather that began on 17 January 2023 caused flooding, landslides and wind damage in the state of Santa Catarina in southern Brazil. The state government said 26 municipalities reported losses due to the storms, as of 19 January.
