Sao Tome Et Principe, December 2021Local Red Cross and IFRC reported flooding caused severe damage and affected around 9,000 people in São Tomé and Príncipe in late December 2021.The government of Sao Tome declared a state of disaster. Media reported 2 fatalities. Full damage assessments were still to be completed as of 12 January 2022 and the government had therefore no received any international aid.
