Queensland, Australia, Late March 2021Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) issued an alert for residents of Beaudesert, Scenic Rim Region, after the Logan River reached major flood level due to heavy rainfall. Local officials said 60 homes were isolated by flood waters in Beaudesert. 2 people were rescued from flood waters. Minor flooding was also occurring along the Albert River in parts of the Scenic Rim Region. On 23 March QFES also warned of potential flooding in low-lying areas north of Pimpama on the Gold Coast.
