EMSR469: Copernicus Emergency Management Service has been activated
Central Vietnam, October 2020Heavy rainfall from 06 October caused flash flooding and landslides in central provinces of Vietnam. Fatalities were reported in Quang Tri province where thousands of people were evacuated. Other fatalities were reported in Gia Lai province. As of 08 October, 5 people had died and 8 were missing. 14,000 people had evacuated their homes, mostly in Quang Tri province.
