Assam, India, Late September 2020Heavy rainfall from around 22 September caused further flooding in Assam, India. Media called this the "Third Wave" of floods in the state for this year's monsoon. As of 28 September, Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA) re[ported 1 fatality, 317,977 affected and 117 in relief camps. The worst affected district is Nagaon, with 198,854 people affected.
