- An earthquake of 5.6 M at a depth of 10 km occurred in West Java Province (Indonesia) on 21 November at 6.21 UTC (13.21 local time). The epicentre of the earthquake was on land, about 10 km south-west of Cianjur City (West Java Province).
- USGS PAGER estimates that up to 242,000 people were exposed to very strong shaking and up to 978,000 people to strong shaking. The earthquake event was felt as well in the Jakarta Capital City, according to media reports.
- According to the Indonesian National Board for Disaster Management (BNPB), two people died and four others sustained injuries in Cianjur. Initial damage estimations report at least seven destroyed houses, two damaged government buildings, three damaged educational facilities, and one damaged place of worship.
- Warnings for heavy rainfall accompanied by lightning and strong winds have been issued for 21-22 November over West Java, including Cianjur Regency.

- The number of casualties is increasing across West Java Province (Indonesia) due to the 5.6M earthquake event that occurred on 21 November in Cianjur Regency.
- According to the Indonesian National Board for Disaster Management (BNPB), 103 people died, and 25 individuals are reportedly missing. Search and rescue operations are ongoing. Nearly 380 people were injured in Cianjur Regency, ten in Sukabumi Regency, two in Bogor Regency, and one in Bandung Regency.
- More than 7,000 people have been displaced, while 3,167 houses were affected by various degrees of damage. After the main event, BNPB reports that 118 aftershocks were recorded in the area..
- The European Commission's Copernicus Emergency Management System was activated in rapid mapping mode () on 22 November in order to support the damage assessment.

- About 268 people died and 151 are missing across West Java province, due to the 5.6M earthquake event that occurred on 21 November in Cianjur Regency, as confirmed by the Indonesian National Board for Disaster Management (BNPB).
- Nearly 58,400 people remain displaced, while more than 1,080 individuals sustained injuries. The assessed infrastructure damage includes about 22,200 affected houses and two hospitals in Cianjur Regency.
- The European Commission's Copernicus Emergency Management System was activated in rapid mapping mode on 22 November in order to support the damage assessment. So far, four grading products have been delivered.

- According to the Indonesian National Board for Disaster Management (BNPB), the number of fatalities reached 271 people while 40 people are still missing, and more than 2,000 have been injured after the 5.6M earthquake event that occurred on 21 November in Cianjur Regency (West Java Province).
- In addition, 61,908 people have been displaced, while 22,241 houses have been seriously damaged, 11,641 moderately damaged, and 22,090 slightly damaged. Search and rescue operations are still ongoing.
- In the meanwhile, heavy rainfall and widespread floods have been affecting parts of Indonesia resulting in damage as reported by the ASEAN Disaster Information Network (ADINet). In North Sumatra Province, almost 12,800 people have been affected, and approximately 2,190 houses damaged. In South Kalimantan Province, more than 1,700 people have been affected as well as more than 600 houses.
- On 24-25 November, moderate to heavy rain with thunderstorms is forecast over North Sumatra and South Kalimantan Province while light rain is expected across Cianjur Regency (West Java Province).

- The number of casualties has increased across the West Java Province (Indonesia) due to the 5.6M earthquake at a depth of 10 km that occurred on 21 November at 6.21 UTC in Cianjur Regency.
- The Indonesian National Board for Disaster Management (BNPB) reports, as of 29 November, 327 fatalities, 13 people still missing, 68 injured people currently hospitalised in Cianjur Town regional hospital and a total of approximately 108,700 evacuated people across several evacuation points.
- The Meteorological, Climatological, and Geophysical Agency (BMKG) continues to record tremors with high potential to trigger landslides, aggravated by possible heavy rains forecasted in the coming days.
- Aid operations from BNPB, and from the local government of Cianjur Regency, NGOs and volunteers are still ongoing.
- The Copernicus Emergency Management System, activated in rapid mapping mode (EMSR641) on 22 November, produced so far 14 satellite maps in order to support the damage assessment.
