  • Tropical cyclone BHEKI continued southwest over the southern Indian Ocean towards Mauritius on 18 November, with maximum sustained winds up to 201 km/h, slightly weakening. On 19 November at 6.00 UTC its centre was located offshore approximately 1,000 km north-east of Mauritius and 1,220 km north-east of Réunion, France, with maximum sustained winds of 137 km/h.
  • BHEKI is forecast to continue southwest on 19-20 November as a tropical storm. It is expected to pass close to the Rodrigues island, Mauritius on 20 November very early in the morning (UTC), with maximum sustained winds up to 75 km/h. After that, it is forecast to pass very close to Mauritius and Réunion on the morning of 21 November, with the same maximum sustained winds.
  • Over the next 96 hours, heavy rainfall is forecast over Mauritius, including the Rodrigues island and Réunion.

  • Tropical cyclone BHEKI passed north of Rodrigues island on 19-20 November and continued west-southwest weakiening over the southern Indian Ocean towards Mauritius. On 20 November at 6.00 UTC its centre was located offshore approximately 477 km north-east of Mauritius and 710 km north-east of Réunion, France, with maximum sustained winds of 75 km/h.
  • BHEKI is forecast to continue southwest still weakening on 20-21 November. It is expected to pass south of Mauritius on 20 November very early in the morning (UTC), and south of Réunion on 21 November with maximum sustained winds up to 75 km/h.
  • Over the next 48 hours, moderate to heavy rainfall is forecast over Mauritius, including the Rodrigues island and Réunion.

  • On 21 November, tropical cyclone BHEKI continued southwest over the southern Indian Ocean passing very close to Mauritius main island and Réunion, with maximum sustained winds up to 74 km/h (tropical storm). On 22 November at 0.00 UTC its centre was located offshore approximately 105 km south-west of Reunion, with maximum sustained winds of 65 km/h.
  • BHEKI is forecast to continue southwest on 22-23 November as a tropical storm, far from the coast of Reunion, further weakening. It is expected to became a tropical depression and to dissipate over the Ocean on 24 November.
  • Over the next 24 hours, more rainfall is forecast over Mauritius, while moderate rainfall is forecast over Réunion over the next 72 hours.
