  • Since 16 November, heavy rainfall continues to affect central and southern Viet Nam, causing flooding and landslides that resulted in fatalities and widespread damage. The five hardest-hit provinces include Quang Ngai, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa, and Lam Dong.
  • According to media, as of 23 November, at least 90 people died, and 12 people are missing. Around 186,000 homes have been damaged across the country, while nearly 80,000 ha of cropland has also been damaged. Several national highways were blocked on 23 November due to flooding and landslides.
  • Following the passage of topical cyclones Fengshen and Kalmaegi, Viet Nam activated the Union Civil Protection Mechanism (UCPM) on 13 November requesting shelter, hygiene, non-food items and health and rescue equipment. Luxembourg and Germany offered shelter and hygiene items.
  • On 30 October, Copernicus Emergency Management Service (EMS) was activated () and 38 maps have been produced so far.
  • On 24-25 November, heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected over (south-)central Viet Nam, with additional moderate rain in the south of the country. For 24 November, authorities issued a landslide warning for Gia Lai and Dak Lak provinces.

  • Very heavy rainfall has continued to affect central and southern Viet Nam since mid-November, causing floods and landslides that have resulted in an increased number of casualties and severe damage. The most affected provinces are Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa, Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang, Gia Lai and Lam Dong.
  • The ASEAN Disaster Information Network (ADINet) and the IFRC report, as of 26 November, 91 fatalities, 11 missing people, approximately 120,000 displaced and a total of nearly 808,600 affected people across the affected provinces. In addition, the same sources also report 308 destroyed, 1,159 damaged houses and 15 damaged bridges.
  • Following the passage of tropical cyclones Fengshen and Kalmaegi, Viet Nam activated the Union Civil Protection Mechanism (UCPM) on 13 November requesting shelter, hygiene, non-food items and health and rescue equipment. Luxembourg, Germany, and Poland offered shelter, kitchen and hygiene items. 
  • On 30 October, Copernicus Emergency Management Service (EMS) was activated (EMSR848) and 101 maps have been produced so far.
  • Over the next 48 hours, moderate rainfall is still forecast over central and southern Viet Nam.

  • Very heavy rainfall has continued to affect central and southern Viet Nam since mid-November, causing floods and landslides that have resulted in more casualties and widespread damage. The most affected provinces are Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa, Lam Dong and Quang Ngai.
  • DG ECHO and the IFRC report, as of 27 November, 98 fatalities, ten people missing, 119,938 displaced people and a total of 808,584 affected people across the affected provinces. In addition, the same sources also report 2,477 destroyed or damaged houses and a total of more than 272,600 flooded houses.
  • Following the passage of tropical cyclones Fengshen and Kalmaegi, Viet Nam activated the Union Civil Protection Mechanism (UCPM) on 13 November requesting shelter, hygiene, PPE, non-food items and health and rescue equipment. Luxembourg, Germany, and Poland offered shelter, kitchen and hygiene items.
  • On 30 October, Copernicus Emergency Management Service (EMS) was activated () and 102 maps have been produced so far.
  • Over the next 72 hours, drier conditions are forecast over most of the country.
