- Heavy rainfall continued to affect northern, central and southern Italy over the past 72 hours, causing floods, rivers overflow and triggering landslides that have resulted in casualties and widespread damage. The worst affected is the Emilia-Romagna region, northern Italy, in particular the provinces of Bologna, Modena, Reggio Emilia, Ravenna and Forlì-Cesena.
- The Italian Civil Protection and media report, as of 21 October, one fatality in the Botteghino di Zocca village, Pianoro municipality, Bologna province due to floods. In addition, the same sources also report approximately 3,100 evacuated people, of which 2,100 people across the Bologna province and around 1,000 people in the Reggio Emilia province.
- The Copernicus Emergency Management Service (EMS) was activated in rapid mapping mode () on 20 October to provide the damage assessment over Bologna, Modena and Reggio Emilia provinces.
- Over the next 48 hours, no more rainfall is forecast over the whole Emilia-Romagna region. The orange alert for hydrogeological and hydraulic risk issued by the Italian Civil Protection over this region is still in force.

- Heavy rainfall has continued to affect southern Italy, in particular the Calabria, and the Sicily regions over the last 36 hours, causing floods, and river overflow and triggering several landslides that have resulted in damage.
- Media report, as of 22 October, eleven rescued persons in the Lamezia Terme city area, Catanzaro province, southern Calabria region. In addition, media also reports one collapsed bridge.
- Over the next 72 hours, light rainfall is forecast over the Calabria and the Sicily regions.

- Heavy rainfall and thunderstorms started on 16 October have continued to affect the north-western part of Italy, including Tuscany, with the Liguria region as the worst affected, causing floods, landslides, and severe weather-related incidents that have resulted in casualties and damage.
- Several roads have been blocked due to the overflow of the Entella river in Chiavari and Lavagna municipalities and of some streams in Recco and Sori municipalities in Genova province. In addition, in Siena city in Tuscany, train disruptions have been recorded. School classes are suspended in Siena, and Savona provinces, and in some municipalities in Genova province.
- On 18 October, more heavy rainfall is forecast over northern Italy, gradually subsiding during the day, and more heavy rainfall is expected on 19 October over the whole country.
