  • Heavy rainfall and strong winds have been affecting several Counties (particularly the southern ones) across California since 6 November, causing floods, mudflows, landslides and a number of severe weather-related incidents that have resulted in casualties and damage. The most affected Counties are: San Bernardino, Vista, Lake Elsinore, San Jacinto, Escondido, Ramona, El Cajon and the San Diego area.
  • Media and local authorities report, as 10 November, one fatality, four persons still missing and five rescued people in the Ontario City (San Bernardino County, southern California). In addition, a number of evacuation orders were issued for several communities across the same County, and local authorities opened a number of shelters
  • Over the next 24 hours, dry conditions are forecast over the whole California.
California, USA, and Northern Mexico, Early November 2022Stormy weather including heavy rain affected parts of southern California, USA, and bordering parts of Baja California State in northern Mexico on 08 November 2022. One person died and 2 people were missing after being swept away by fast-flowing waters in a flood channel in Ontario, California. Evacuation orders were issued for burn scar areas of Yucaipa. Streets were flooded in Tijuana, Mexico, causing major traffic disruption. As of 08 November no damages or fatalities had been reported.
