Twin Cyclones in the Indian Ocean

On May 8, 2022, the Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) on NOAA-20 captured this natural-color image of the storms at 12:55 p.m. local time (07:55 Universal Time). The twin cyclones were spinning at roughly the same distance from the equator, but in opposite directions.
