Forecasters on Monday morning were tracking a weather disturbance over the Bahamas that has a 30% chance of developing into a tropical depression. As of 7 a.m. Monday, a trough of low pressure was over the northwest Bahamas and was producing showers and thunderstorms, the National Hurricane Center said.
