The small quake was felt by at least 50 people just before 3am around Emerald in the Dandenong Ranges and comes after a 2.5 magnitude tremor struck near on July 29. That earthquake happened just after 7pm and was felt by at least 535 people, with social media exploding with curious locals that said it was “like thunder” in the immediate aftermath.
