A 3.2-magnitude earthquake struck just before 7 a.m. Thursday in the Strait of Georgia, about 17 kilometres west of Sechelt and to the southeast of Texada Island. “A few people felt it very mildly,” said Alison Bird, a Natural Resources Canada seismologist. Residents of Saltspring Island, Powell River and Roberts Creek feeling a light tremor.
