Discussion and outlook

By 700 PM CHST...0900 UTC...the center of Tropical Storm Muifa is

expected to be located near Latitude 13.8 North and Longitude 134.2

East. Tropical Storm Muifa is moving toward the northwest at 6 mph.

It is expected to make a turn toward the north Thursday morning then

to the northeast Friday with a slight increase in forward speed

through Friday.



Maximum sustained winds remain at 45 mph. Tropical Storm Muifa is

expected to strengthen further through Thursday.



Tropical storm force winds extend outward from the center up to 70

miles in the eastern semicircle and up to 45 miles in the western

semicircle.
