At 700 PM CHST...0900 UTC...the center of Tropical Depression 03W

was located near Latitude 13.1 North and Longitude 135.7 East.

Tropical Depression 03W is moving toward the northwest at 5 mph.

It is expected to make a slight turn toward the north-northwest

with a slight increase in forward speed over the next 24 hours.



Maximum sustained winds remain at 35 mph. Tropical Depression 03W

is forecast to intensify through tonight and could become a tropical

storm later tonight or early Wednesday.
