Update: 11:49AM A 5.3 MAGNITUDE earthquake occurred this morning in the Solomon Islands region. The Seismology Unit of the Mineral Resources department confirmed the earthquake occurred at 3:21am, and was located 274km Southeast from Honiara, Solomon Islands, 1027km North-Northwest from Port Vila, Vanuatu, and 1951km Northwest from Suva.
