Jordan, Late May 2023The Department of Public Security in Jordan reported one person died and another was rescued after flash floods swept away a vehicle in the Aqaba Governorate on 29 May. Jordan Meteorological Department also reported flooding in streets of the city of Aqaba. Local media, quoting the Governor of Zarqa, reported one person was missing in floods in Al Hashmiyeh in Zarqa Governorate.
