Djibouti, November 2019Unusually heavy rain from 21 November caused flooding in parts of Djibouti, in particular Djibouti City. A UN report of 24 November says as many as 250,000 people were affected in some way in Djibouti City, where people have died. Flooding also affected other areas, although full damage assessments were not available.
