Slovakia, Mid-July 2024Heavy rain triggered a landslides and flooding in the Monkova Valley in the Tatras Mountains in Slovakia on 11 July 2024. A landslide hit a tourist shelter trapping 16 people inside. Police and local authorities of the nearby town of Zdiar reported 2 people died and 4 were injured in the incident.
