By John Ravelo. SAIPAN, CNMI (Saipan Tribune, July 1) -- Despite tracking far north of the Marianas, monsoon rains continued to batter Saipan yesterday, causing widespread flooding on different parts of the island and resulting in heavy runoff that contaminated the beaches.
