Samoa has experienced five earthquakes in a row over the past seven days with the latest occurring early yesterday morning. No tsunami warning was issued for the earthquakes, according to a bulletin issued by Samoa Meteorological Office. The earthquakes starting from April 9, occurred at a magnitude of 5.

QRCS completes relief project for PNG earthquake victims

Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) has completed a relief intervention to help the victims of earthquakes and floods in Papua New Guinea, with funding from Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD). The project was co-ordinated with Papua New Guinea Red Cross Society (PNGRCS) and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).
