Tsunami waves were observed at Maré Island in New Caledonia and Lenakel in Vanuatu. The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center has said tsunami waves at around three to 10 feet were possible along the coasts of New Caledonia and Vanuatu. Live video footage from GLP Hotels shows the coast of New Caledonia as the tsunami threat looms.
