When we think of drought, our immediate thought is of cracked, dry land and wildfire. However, many of us think the antidote to drought is a surplus of rain. But too much rain can be an equally bad thing. In the Quad Cities, if we didn't get a drop more rain or a flake more snow, we would have a surplus for the year.
